Een lang weekend of mid week genieten van de ontluikende lente in Le Marche?
De natuur loopt volop uit en is prachtig. Het is nog een fijne temperatuur voor outdoor activiteiten als wandelen en fietsten. Dat kan vanaf ons (lokale routes), in 1 van de vele authentieke dorpen hier in de buurt (waarvan er een aantal in de top 100 mooiste dorpen van Italie staan), in de bergen (natural park Monti sibillini, half uur rijden), rond verschillende meren (half uur rijden) en aan het strand (uur rijden). Ook is er veel culinair te genieten van mooie lokale producten in fijne lokale restaurants en tijdens culinaire evenementjes die altijd wel ergens in de regio plaats vinden.

A day in Umbria! Feeding our farmers side by visiting the agricultural fair #agriumbria and so…Surprised to find there also Dutch flower bulbs and strawberry plants!
Through a new road opened a couple of years ago between Le Marche and Umbria, it now only takes us around 1h15 to get to this beautiful neighbouring region. Perfect distance for a day trip 😊

Leuk artikel in De Smaak van Italië over 7 mooie plekken in onze veelzijdige regio Le Marche! En er is hier nog veel meer moois te ontdekken…
Le Marche is heerlijk authentiek en biedt alles van zee tot bergen binnen beperkte afstand en dus van luieren tot wandelen en fietsen. De regio heeft op culinair gebied (inclusief veel specifieke lokale producten) veel te bieden tegen zeer fijne prijzen, heeft prachtige middeleeuwse dorpen (ons buurdorp Sarnano staat op de lijst met mooiste dorpen in Italië), is niet overspoeld door toerisme en is echt overweldigend qua natuur (het groene hart van Italie), o.a. vanwege het National Park Monte Sibillini.
Allemaal uiteraard te ontdekken vanuit onze agriturismo in Gualdo 😊!

Vanaf 22 april vliegt Transavia weer rechtsreeks van Rotterdam/Den Haag naar Perugia!
Het vliegveld van Perugia ligt hier maar 1u15 rijden vandaan en is daarmee 1 van de gunstigste en alternatieven om bij ons te komen voor wie wil vliegen. Zo omzeil je Schiphol ook, gezien de problemen die daar ook komend seizoen weer verwacht worden.
De vluchten gaan vooralsnog op zaterdag en woensdag.
De andere ‘directe’ vlieg optie is Weeze/Ancona met ryanair. Ook het vliegveld van Ancona ligt hier 1u15 vandaan. Deze lijn start weer op 29 maart en ook hier voorlopig vluchten op de zaterdagen en de woensdagen.

The retro colour scheme of the Colpo di Fortuna logo and site, are inspired by local nature. These colours and the new retro style are also reflected in our outdoor areas as well as parts of the interiors of our apartments.
We chose the new retro style as we did a make-over of what was once Villa NuMoViv. Shifting from a very bright accent colour use to more muted though still expressive colour use. Moving from a once combined traditional/modern interior style to a fully contemporary style, incorporating Italian design icons, local art, reuse of our own design furniture from Amsterdam and furniture and kitchens we designed and made here ourselves.
So in a way this change in colour and style reflects our journey of 11 years living in Italy, where the destructive 2016 earth quakes combined with a series of other events and circumstances, motivated and enabled us to not only rebuild and restart our hospitality and agro business in a more mature way but also to spread our wings in the areas of interior architecture and design (Marleen’s Design), furniture and interior making (Jeroen Bults-creator) and the local bag and fashion accessory business (PAUL MECCANICO). In a way we reinvented and developed ourselves as we did with our physical environment (our own home and the holiday accommodation). That is what we call serendipity or in Italian “Colpo di Fortuna”.
From the new base we have created, we can now start to consolidate and grow step by step in each area, organically as always, but hopefully in a more balanced and harmonious way than the “shock waves” of the last few years, with a bit more leasure time to consciously enjoy and further discover the beautiful and rich environment we are living in here in Italy.

Wat steeds een verrassing voor veel van onze Nederlandse gasten en vrienden lijkt te zijn, is dat Transavia tegenwoordig tussen eind april en eind oktober (laatste vliegdag dit jaar is 30 oktober) van Rotterdam direct naar Perugia vliegt (vliegtijd ongeveer 2 uur) en dat het vanaf Perugia vliegveld maar 1u15 rijden is naar ons. De snelste en makkelijkste manier om hier te komen, helemaal gezien de perikelen op Schiphol dit jaar! Als we zelf naar NL gaan we ook het liefste zo. De vluchten gaan 2 keer per week. Tot op heden was dat op dinsdag of woensdag en zaterdag.
Andere alternatieven blijven Rome en Bologna direct (ruim 3 uur rijden) en Ancona (indirect via munchen en direct met Ryan Air vanaf Weeze (1u20 rijden).

We did it! We have finished everything on time, are open and have already welcomed our first guests after 6 years of closure. Feels good!!
Apart from the fact that literally everything has been renovated and upgraded, we have some great new features:
Apartment Gualdo and O’Viv on the 1st floor now each have their own private terrace with great views! Apartment Amsterdam on the ground floor has a renovated garden offering also mountain views.
Each apartment has its own Icon BBQ!
We have a bigger and better accessible parking lot, for which the first electric car charging unit is also on the way.
There is a new Norwell fitness area with great views.
There are various footpaths leading through the beautiful new garden to the fitness area, the pool and beyond.
There is a new pool/shade house as well as an extra pool sun deck with bamboo flooring.
There are various seating areas throughout the garden, not only near the pool and on the central terrace.
Even though it generally cools off here at night as we are located at 550 metres above sea level, an aircooler and a fan are present in each apartment for the extremly hot days/nights.
And there is so much more to discover!!

We are back! And how…
We are delighted to FINALLY be able to announce that we are reopening our doors for guests as from 30th July!! Completely renovated and upgraded inside as well as outside and under the new name ‘Agriturismo Colpo di Fortuna’ (= serendipity in English), which we feel suits us better now than Villa NuMoViv.
We have a new website https://colpodifortuna.eu and we are also listed again on Booking.com and Airbnb.
